About Oldham
Oldham is a Metropolitan Borough located in the Pennines on a rise between the River Medlock and River Irk. The town is 5m southeast of Rochdale and 7m northeast of Manchester. Oldham gained prominence in the 1800s during the Industrial Revolution with the rise of textile manufacture in North West England.
